January 1, 2026: I’m thrilled to share that my poem “The House That Learned to Keep Time Differently” has been published in Abyss & Apex.

 

This poem came from living inside the strange elasticity of time that motherhood brings, when a single hallway can seem to hold decades and a single room can echo with past and future at once. I wanted the house to feel sentient but kind, a keeper rather than a ghost.

 

I’m deeply grateful to Abyss & Apex for giving this poem a home.
