The Mersey Review

I’m grateful to share that my poem “The Drawer of Small Storms” appears in Issue 8 of The Mersey Review.

The poem began with a simple domestic image: opening a kitchen drawer and sensing something unsettled inside it. Ordinary objects shift, hum, and spark, and the familiar space of home becomes charged with its own weather. What emerged is a meditation on static, near-language, and the quiet storms we carry beneath the surface of everyday life.

I’m thankful to the editors for giving this strange current a place to live.
