Starbound is one of those poems that came to me almost like a memory. It’s about love that doesn’t follow the usual rules, something bigger, quieter, and somehow timeless. I’m honored it found a home in Discretionary Love, a space that values the strange and the sacred. This piece means a lot to me, and I hope it speaks to anyone who’s ever felt connected to someone across distance, silence, or time.
