I’m honored to share that two of my poems, The Waiting Pulse and Anatomy Lesson, appear in Aorta, Issue 2.

 

Both pieces explore the quiet spaces inside emergency medicine: the suspended breath between monitor beeps, the body as archive, the question of what survives.

 

I’m grateful to Aorta for holding space for work that lives at the intersection of medicine, vulnerability, and endurance.
