Wild Willow Magazine, Issue 4: Foxglove

I’m honored to share that my poem “Belladonna” appears in the newest issue of Wild Willow Magazine. This issue’s theme, Foxglove, gathers work rooted in beauty, danger, and the medicinal edge where healing meets harm—fertile ground for the world of emergency medicine and the legacy of the women who taught me to listen closely for what can still be saved.

“Belladonna” is a poem steeped in inheritance: my grandmother’s jars of roots, the blurred line between poison and cure, and the moments in the emergency department when breath returns and the room remembers how to hold hope again.

Thank you to the editors at Wild Willow Magazine for giving this piece such a beautiful home.
